Complementary colors: orange and teal

The best colors to wear together are shades that are complimentary of each other. In the world of color, this actually means shades that are opposites. These include red and green, violet and yellow and blue and orange. When I was at the beautiful lobby of the Franq hotel in Antwerp, I realized I was wearing orange which is complementary to the teal interior so I just had to make these pictures to show you how nice this combo looks!

Turquoise is said to be the most universally flattering colour; teal shades of the hue suit darker and darker skin tones, and aqua shades suit those with fairer skin and hair.

Orange and teal is one of the most unexpected color combinations what makes any woman look sassy. Orange is a bright color what attracts attention, while teal is a complementary color what ideally tones down brightness and harmonizes other shades. When you combine these two colors in a result you have an ultimately chic pairing what makes you look perfect and chic don’t you think?

I’m wearing the mini lady Dior I bought in Paris years ago, still one of my favorites. It’s orange in the front and back and has pink handles and sides which makes it so much fun!

The watch is the Serpenti from BVLGARI. It was my dream watch for years! Having a partnership with BVLGARI was a dream come true this year.

If you ever want to go to Antwerp you definitely have to visit this amazing boutique hotel Franq where you can enjoy a drink at the bar or just lounge in the prettiest decor.

I can’t link any of the items I’m wearing as the skirt is old, it’s H&M and I got the Milly lace top years ago. But I found a similar here.

xoxo Francine
