Hey sweeties, in this post I’m going to show you my beautiful new jumpsuit, and I’ll tell you how to wear a jumpsuit.
But first let me welcome you on my new blog with a fresh new layout! I’m so happy I can finally show you this, featuring my recent jumpsuit look. The past few months has been the biggest turning point for my blog with fast growth in readership, partnerships and sponsorship opportunities. To manage growth and expectations I decided that now it is the right time to redesign the site. For now, I hope you enjoy exploring the new blog!
Okay, let’s talk about this lovely jumpsuit from ASOS. It is killer! The halter neck and back opening of this jumpsuit gives off the perfect summer vibe. Combining frills in this silhouette creates a chic and playful summer design that is just so fun to wear.
Would you like some peplum frill with that?
I’m already a sucker for pink (and jumpsuits to be honest) but when I saw this one I instantly fell in love. It has the most adorable fit with the peplum frill in scuba crèpe. It’s perfect for spring season because it’s a one and done piece and still has tons of personality!
Personally, like with most of my clothing, I opt for the more classic and elegant pieces in bold colors. Black is safe. But black is black. You’ll be more impressive in color!
The effect of a solid jumpsuit
A solid suit is elongating since it’s one unbroken vertical line the eye moves easily up and down without interruption.
How to wear a jumpsuit
A jumpsuit can easily be dressed up. I paired it with a fitted purple Pinko blazer after the shoot for a more professional look. Wearing heels is a style rule I always follow; it will make you look more elegant and taller. I’m wearing matching purple heels and a Chanel mini rectangular classic bag. You know I love matchy matchy! I’m planning to get some cool slip-on trainers and an embroided biker jacket to pair it with for active family fun days.
